Boeing shares rose 3% following the decision Friday, while Lockheed shares fell nearly 6%. The Pentagon wants the new F-47 jet fighter to replace the stealthy F-22, a Lockheed aircraft, and fly alongside semiautonomous drones that are already well into development.
